FAQ's

What should I expect during a consultation with an osteopath?

At your first appointment, the initial part of the session will be spent discussing your symptoms and past/present medical history. You will then be asked to undress to your underwear so that you can be examined.

The examination involves the patient performing a few simple movements to assess mobility and restrictions, some orthopaedic/ neurological tests and palpation (a highly developed sense of touch).

Once this has been completed the osteopath will fully explain your diagnosis and a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
